Managing DNS Records

Updated 2 weeks ago

DNS (Domain Name System) records define how your domain behaves by directing traffic to websites, email servers, and third-party services. They function as the internet’s directory, translating domain names (for example, example.com) into IP addresses and service endpoints. DNS records are commonly required for domain verification, email configuration, and integration with external platforms.

Whether your domain was purchased through ConvertLabs or connected as an external domain, DNS management is handled by the ConvertLabs technical team to ensure security, accuracy, and reliability.

How to Request DNS Record Changes

  1. Collect the DNS record details provided by the service you are connecting (for example, TXT, CNAME, MX, or A records).
  2. Contact our team via the Chat feature or send an email to hello@convertlabs.io
  3. In your message, clearly specify:
    - The record type (TXT, CNAME, MX, A, etc.)
    - The host/name, value, and priority (if applicable)
    - Any additional instructions provided by the service
  4. Copy and paste the full text of each DNS record into your message.
  5. Attach a screenshot showing the DNS instructions from the external service.
  6. Our technical team will review the request and add the records as soon as possible.
  7. You will be notified once the changes have been completed or if further clarification is needed.
